What to Expect

Most race days are underway by 8:00 am with cars heading out for practice and qualifying sessions. Typically all races are after lunch, beginning around 1:00 pm and ending by 5:00 pm. During the day spectators are free to wander the pits, see the cars up close and talk with drivers and crew. The whole family is welcome, and children’s play areas are available at some tracks.

Volunteer to get truly up close and personal with race cars! Wave flags and respond to emergencies on track, check for driver safety on the grid, control timing and scoring, and more! Volunteers receive special SCCA gifts and swag, free lunch everyday, free Saturday night dinner.
