Mazda of Lakewood Freedom Sprints

By COR

A U.S. Majors Tour Event in the Mid-States Conference

Mazda of Lakewood and the Colorado Region SCCA are proud to present the 2013 Freedom Sprints. The Freedom Sprints is the traditional 4th of July weekend event hosted by the Colorado Region SCCA.

Mazda of Lakewood is a strong supporter of club racing in the rocky mountain region, sponsoring a Spec Miata, a Formula Enterprise and a Spec Racer Enterprise. They eagerly stepped forward to sponsor the Freedom Sprints after BFGoodrich moved their 4th of July Super Tour to Watkins Glen.

Kurt Hanson will be on hand to do a live remote broadcast and provide commentary and winners circle / podium interviews. The SCCA National office will be providing ‘Live Timing’ for those unable to attend as well as event posters for all the workers and victory lap commemorative flags for the class winners.

Workers and volunteers that pre-register on MotorSportReg will receive special Mazda of Lakewood commemorative T-Shirts and $25 Gas cards as well as other goodies.

Race Chair Michelle always arranges for a terrific party Saturday night. Spectators are always welcome and we encourage you to goto the spectator page of the colorado region website to print special 2 for 1 gate coupons. (SCCA Members always get free entry to club events!)

If you have any questions, please contact Michelle McColl or any COR BoD member.

We are expecting a large field, and some fantastic racing. See you there!
