The Colorado Region BOD is looking for volunteers from the membership for the position of “Race Chair” in 2009.
Over the past few years, the Race Chair position has been taken on by a select few, usually BOD members. As a club, we as members, should all share this duty.
Your BOD will chief the first race of the season. This leaves five race weekends in the 2009 season that need a race chair or race chair team.
In the spirit of fun and camaraderie, the BOD thought some of the race classes or groups would like to get together and chair a race weekend.
The groups we came up with when brainstorming were Miata, Spec7, Production, Club Ford, Touring/SStock, GT, Sports Racers, Club Time Trials, or… any other group is welcome! Forward your group’s first, second, and third choice for a weekend to chris@peakeurosport.com. Weekends will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Chairing a race weekend doesn’t take up an inordinate amount of time and it lets you plan the party and choose event magnets, volunteer incentives, and give-aways. Step up and truly be a part of making the race weekend happen.
